The Legendary Abby Road MK4 Console Up For Grabs

Pink Floyd’s recording console from London’s Abbey Road Studios that was used by engineer Alan Parsons on the making of The Dark Side of the Moon is for sale. The TG12345 MK 4 console is one of only two custom made by EMI engineers. It was also used on recordings by Paul McCartney and Wings, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. Still in working order and accompanied by a letter of authenticity from former Abbey Road studio manager Ken Townsend, it will be sold at the Bonhams Rock and Roll Through the Lens sale in New York on March 27th.
